The procedure to transfer the TIN registration is to submit a duly accomplished BIR
Form 1905 (Application for Registration Information Update) with the
BIR - Revenue District Office (RDO) where the TIN is registered. You need to indicate the RDO Number, both for the old and the new RDO, in the “Change of Registered Address” column. The list of RDO Number or Code is available in the BIR Directory. For example, the RDO Code of Caloocan is 027, RDO Code for Bacolod is 077 and so on.
For employees, the
BIR Form 1905 can be submitted by an authorized representative fully furnish with an authorization letter and the TIN owner's ID. For those registered in far away provinces, it is advisable that the application for transfer be directly coordinated with your current
RDO. You may ask for assistance or better yet request for their approval if you can just send the BIR Form 1905
to their office via fax or email.
If you do not know where your TIN is registered, you may call the RDO where you apply for the TIN or the BIR Contact Center at 981-8888 for assistance.

Hi, I have a trade license issued in a different state and for shop. Now I want to start an online store with the same line of products but operating from a different state. Can I use the same TIN. What are the other formalities. I do not have a Current as of now.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it important that employees need to be registered under the same RDO of their current/new employer? And if you weren’t able to change your RDO code to be the same with your current employer’s RDO code, what will happen? Will affect your income tax return if you’re entitled to one?

ReplyDeleteHELLO, my tin is registered in lipa but i worked also in cavite and i have tax there, but when i verified in BIR lipa if where my tin is registered, they said still in lipa. that does mean my employer in cavite didn't transfer my tin there. is that possible? i am very confuse regarding this matter.hope you can explain and enlighten me. thank's
ReplyDeleteSame issue po.. after pampanga nagwork ako sa manila for nine years then ngresign to live for good in Btaan na.. kaso nung ngpaparegister nako sa bataan since nakapasok ako ng work dito sabe patrabsfer daw muna rdo ko from pamapga to bataan.. so meaning ung manila ko hde natransfer dun :(
