Thus, my topic for today will be in relation to the impending enrollment period for the said school year.
Recent news says more than 300 private schools will be increasing its tuition fees (oh no!). No
problem for the rich people but to numerous parents who experience perennial
enrollment fees problem, it’s a BIG dilemma. So, to all smart and tough
students, who cannot be stopped by such problem and will be availing of the
school’s scholarship, you might be needing your parents’ Certificate of
Non-Filing of the Income Tax Return from the BIR.
And to
get such certification, you need to coordinate with the
Taxpayer Service Section of the Revenue District Office (RDO) having
jurisdiction over the location of your residence. You need to submit a written
request for such certification together with the following documents:
A. Affidavit of non-filing of ITR
(Notarized) stating therein the following:
1. Name of parents with no work
2. Name of child
3. Address
4. Source of income
5. Reason for non-filing of ITR
6. Purpose of the certification
B. Barangay Clearance
Request for such certification will cost you One
Hundred Pesos (P100.00) for the certification fee and Fifteen Pesos (P15.00)
for the documentary stamp tax.
Don’t know which RDO your residence belongs? Better
check the BIR Directory. This link does not only provides for the
addresses and telephone numbers of the different RDOs but also of their
respective area of jurisdiction.

hi. i just wanted to ask kung kailangan pa ng both parents magpakita sa BIR. parehas kasi silang kukuha ng non filing sa BIR o pwdeng isa nlang kasi may proof na naman ng affidavit from the lawyer eh. parehas kasi ung parents ko na walang tax ung trabaho pero ndi pwdeng magtravel ng malayo ung isa. or kailangan tlga magpakita sila pareho?

ReplyDeleteIf you are applying for a scholarship and your parents are both alive, you need to show both of their ITRs or certificate of non-filing of ITR.
Hi! Is it okay kung ako lang pupunta, hindi kasama parents ko pag kumuha ako ng affidavit of non filing tax? Tbank you!

Deletehello po what if po patay na ang both parents tas nakikitira lang po sa kapatid na wala rin pong income kung kukuha po ba ako ng Affidavit of no Income para pa po ba sa ate ko o pwedeng sa akin nalang po kasi nasa legal age na po ako.

ReplyDeleteWhat if dating may work ang parent tapos nawalan lang ng work 7 years ago then nasa requirements pa rin ng bir, certificate of employment at walang ma iprovide dahil sarado na co. 7 yers ago na, di ba pwede ma issuehan ang said parent ng nonfilling even completed na ibng requirements aside sa cert of employment?

And pwede po bang kahit ako nalang po na anak nya kumuha nun, tas magbibigay nalang po si mama nang authorization letter? Stay in po kase ngayon parent ko sa trabaho e, kailangan ko lang po for scholarship. Thank you po sa sasagot :>
