How To Secure BIR-Importers/Brokers Clearance Certificate.

Importers and Brokers Accreditation are currently process by the BIR and a lot of companies are having hard time securing the corresponding clearance certificate. The BIR recently issued advisories on the new procedures. For those who are not aware, you may open the following links for ICC/BCC APPLICATION and FOLLOW-UP. These are found at BIR website home page under the Advisories. The lists of the Release Tax Clearance are also available at the said site under the Announcements, Tax Clearance links.

Additional information are provided in Revenue Memorandum Order (RMO) Nos. 10, 22 and 33, 2014 and 1-2015.

According to the Advisory, effective July 1, 2015 no personal follow-up will be entertained by the Accounts Receivable Monitoring Division (ARMD) instead it will only be thru email.
